Activities

We aim to give our residents a chance to lead independent and fulfilling lives through the acquisition or maintenance of knowledge and skills. The activities room is available at all times, for the use of residents and day care clients alike, for the pursuit of individual interests - computing, sewing, painting and much more.

Our specialist activities officer runs a varied daily programme.

The sun room houses our own comprehensive collection of books, supplemented by a regular supply from the public library. A programme of entertainment is organised including visiting musicians and choirs. An audio loop system has been installed. We also regularly visit the Hall for Cornwall for pantomime, opera, ballet and musicals.

Holy Communion is celebrated frequently at the rest home for those who wish.
